The Hospitalist will provide exceptional medical care in a Long-Term Care Facility (LTAC) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.</p><p style="margin-bottom:0in" class="MsoNormal"><b><br></b></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in" class="MsoNormal"><b>Compensation and Benefits:</b> Competitive compensation package with opportunities for financial growth based on patient volume and performance. Full-time physicians currently earning between $300,000 - $500,000 per year, with potential to earn well over $500,000 based on productivity and patient load. Benefits package, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing medical education opportunities.</p><p style="margin-bottom:0in" class="MsoNormal"><b><br></b></p><p style="margin-bottom:0in" class="MsoNormal"><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or a relevant specialty.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Active and unrestricted medical license in the state(s) where services will be rendered.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Experience in hospital medicine, long-term care, or geriatric medicine is highly desirable.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Strong clinical acumen, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions effectively.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Empathy, compassion, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Willingness to travel to multiple locations and sites as needed.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Flexibility to work full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules based on facility needs and personal preferences.</p></li></ul><p style="margin-bottom:0in" class="MsoNormal"><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Provide comprehensive medical care to a caseload of 15 to 20 patients per day, which includes managing complex medical conditions, chronic illnesses, and acute exacerbations.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Handle an average of 5 to 6 patient admissions per day, ensuring timely and accurate assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Conduct regular patient rounds, assess progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Perform thorough medical evaluations, diagnostic tests, and order appropriate interventions.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Ensure timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and other necessary medical records in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Participate in care conferences and family meetings to discuss patient care plans and address any concerns or questions.</p></li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"><p>Provide guidance and education to nursing staff, caregivers, and families regarding patient care, medication management, and health promotion strategies.</p></li></ul> |
